Vectorworks Foundation Course

This course is suitable for any new Vectorworks users whether you're an architect, landscape architect, garden designer, interior designer, lighting designer or event planner. It is not aimed at any specific design discipline but will cover the basics of how to use Vectorworks, the basics of 2D drawing, introduction to 3D modelling and how to find and use the extensive resource libraries and create your own symbols.

You'll move from a blank screen to completing a basic 2D plan, that looks great and is ready to print. Although the course is aimed at all designers, there are some example plans included for you to copy, which cover all the tools you'll learn, just in case you're short of inspiration on the day.

As a one to one course, you may be able to cover the content of this course in one day. Those who have extensive experience with other CAD systems, may be able to do an accelerated Foundation course as part of a tailored training programme.

It is an ideal and cost-effective way to get started before moving on to one-to-one training which is tailored to suit your design practice. Alternatively, you could move through an agenda of the other one to one courses. This Foundation course is also available as an online self-study training course.
